Students and Staff of the Week at Chisholm High School - April 19, 2024
Mrs. Helmer – Nominated by Carly Alzen
She may not be “staff” at Chisholm but she has definitely helped impact the lives of the students here. Ramona is awesome with helping us hit our goals for the week to help us get through the school year.
Trevor Cernota – Nominated by Mrs. Purdy
Trevor is always looking to gain new skills for after graduation. He is always willing to assist staff whenever he has the time and keeps up on his assignments and all of the teachers’ bad jokes and puns!
Mikayla Paine – Nominated by Mr. Stish
Mikayla has kept on top of her work, is always respectful and has been a pleasure to have in class. Keep up the great work Mikayla!

Calling all Students interested in Bowling!!
If you love to bowl and would like to be part of a team in High School please let us know.
High School Bowling is done using the Baker System with five bowlers a game. We do need more than five as we do switch out our bowlers. Practice is usually 2 days a week and our meets are on Sundays.
Our season begins in August with our year fundraiser and then practice starts with our meets starting in Sept. – Oct. We only have 4 meets with a district roll off at the end. State and All Conference Tournaments are run in November and December. We are very flexible for any students who are in other sports at their school.
Our practices and our meet are held at the Hibbing Bowling Center and we will have a team meeting to figure out times.
Bowling is a great opportunity for students to earn scholarship money. This year we had 2 seniors who were recruited by multiple colleges for bowling.
So if you feel this is something you would like to try feel free to contact the coaches below.
Thank you!
