Calling all Students interested in Bowling!!
If you love to bowl and would like to be part of a team in High School please let us know.
High School Bowling is done using the Baker System with five bowlers a game. We do need more than five as we do switch out our bowlers. Practice is usually 2 days a week and our meets are on Sundays.
Our season begins in August with our year fundraiser and then practice starts with our meets starting in Sept. – Oct. We only have 4 meets with a district roll off at the end. State and All Conference Tournaments are run in November and December. We are very flexible for any students who are in other sports at their school.
Our practices and our meet are held at the Hibbing Bowling Center and we will have a team meeting to figure out times.
Bowling is a great opportunity for students to earn scholarship money. This year we had 2 seniors who were recruited by multiple colleges for bowling.
So if you feel this is something you would like to try feel free to contact the coaches below.
Thank you!

Memorial Blood Centers announced a Blood Emergency following a period of low donor turnout due to holidays and school breaks. There is currently a 2-3-day supply of type O negative, as well as a critical shortage of platelets, but all donation types are needed.
“We are asking our community to respond during this blood emergency so that we are able to meet the needs of patients in the hospitals we serve. We are calling on eligible donors to make an immediate blood or platelet donation, and it is our hope that we’ll see first time and youth donors answer our call for help.,” -- Kathy Geist, Vice President at Memorial Blood Centers.
Blood Drives help increase our supply, ending the shortage.

Students and Staff of the week for Chisholm High School:
Mrs. Yuretich – Nominated by Orry Frost
Mrs. Yuretich makes geometry very fun and easy to learn. She always takes the time to help and teach us the lesson we are learning. She never lets you fall behind if you don't understand something or were gone from school during the lesson. She will simplify the work we are doing to make it much easier for us to understand. Thank you Mrs. Yuretich.
Victor Perez – Nominated by Mrs. Allen
Victor is willing to help out around the classroom, share his ideas, and get his work in on time. Victor is creative and uses art to explain science concepts and has done a very good job in my class.
Morgan Janke & Ben Thompson (not pictured) – Nominated by Mr. Freitas
Morgan and Ben have been excellent senior leaders in the trumpet section this year. They always put forward their best effort and are very receptive learners. I am so proud of the progress they have made over the years. Thank you both very much!
