Congratulations to this week's Staff of the Week and English Scholars of the Week:
Mary Jo – Nominated by Zoey Bailey
Mary Jo is always there in the office if I need something. Even though I don't talk to her she still is nice to me. Thanks Mary Jo for always helping me and others.
ENGLISH SCHOLARS
Nova Hofstad & Trystin Baker – Nominated by Mr. Boehm
Nova and Trystin excel in class by going above and beyond assignment requirements and focusing on their own personal writing journeys. They both enjoy writing and expressing themselves through language arts. From Mr. Boehm's point of view, this joy of writing and wanting to learn more about self-expression through writing are the very best first steps of an English Scholar. Keep on writing and learning, Nova and Trystin!
Jonas Benchina – Nominated by Mrs. Z-M
Jonas always puts his best effort when it comes to classwork. He is always willing to answer questions and participate in class discussions. Keep up the great work, Jonas!
Jessica Carter – Nominated by Mr. Backstrom
I appreciate all of the hard work that Jessica has put into her classes during Quarter 2. Jessica has shown the ability to stay positive and stay engaged in class, so thank you for your hard work, Jessica.

Thank you to all who bought Root Beer Floats and/or donated money to the United Way's Comforts of Home Program! The Chisholm Student Council was proud to give $690.00 to the United Way to help provide families in our area with some basic necessities such as: bedding, small appliances, and cleaning supplies.

Darren Landgren, our American Indian Education Director visited our Preschool Half-Day class. He brought in pieces of nature to show the children and tell them how the Ojibwe used them and the importance each item meant. The kids especially enjoyed the drum and had fun dancing around it.
The Pre-K class and teachers would like to thank Darren for this amazing experience for the kids.

Enrollment Days Coming Soon for PreK4 and School Readiness!

Encourage students to wake up and go to bed at the same time each day. This helps regulate their body clock. Organize school materials, pack lunches, and lay out clothes in advance to reduce morning stress.

A big thank you to the Chisholm and Greenway fans at the Girls Basketball game last night! You helped raise almost $300.00 for the United Way's Comfort of Home program. Let's see if we can beat that tonight at the Chisholm and MIB boys game tonight!
