Statewide Testing
2025 Chisholm Public School District 0695 Testing Schedule
Purpose: Testing is used in schools to measure student achievement determined by the Minnesota Benchmarks. State tests are given to students in a district once a year, based on their grade level and subject area.

Estimated times: Reading 2.5-3.5 hours, Math 1.5 – 2 hours, Science 1.75 hours
Schedule: Students may work for all or part of their scheduled time depending on how much time is individually needed to complete the section. Make Up tests will be scheduled as needed.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change throughout the school year.
On all tests, do your own best work to show what you know and can do.
Do not accept help finding answers to test questions.
Do not give answers to other students.
Do not tell others what is on the test.
There may be consequences if you do not follow directions or if you behave dishonestly.

Reading: MCA or MTAS (grades 3-8, 10)
Mathematics: MCA or MTAS (grades 3-8, 11)
Science: MCA or MTAS (grades 5, 8, and once in high school)
